The UpRiver Dulcimer Group is a non-profit musical group founded in 2007. The group promotes the musical instrument called the "Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer."
We hope it will help and encourage the use of this cultural instrument and assist in the development of the musical abilities of its members, in turn preserving the dulcimer's cultural heritage.
All members are mountain dulcimer players, but complimentary instruments are welcome! It enhances our beautiful dulcimers.
Come join us!
New members are always welcome.
Dues are $10 annually - used for copy work, signs, and some local charitable contributions.
The music we play is typically old time, folk, Celtic, or gospel. Music will be made available when you join.
